Dipropylene glycol：

It is mainly used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, shellac varnish, cellulose acetate, etc.. It is also used in the preparation of unsaturated polyester resin, plasticizer, synthetic detergent, and also for flavor and fragrance and cosmetics and other products that are sensitive to odor.

(1) Dipropylene glycol is an ideal solvent for many flavor and fragrance and cosmetic applications. This raw material has good water, oil and hydrocarbon co-solubility, and has a mild odor, little skin irritation and low toxicity. Uniform and consistent distribution of isomers and excellent quality.

2) Dipropylene glycol is also used as a coupling agent and moisturizer in many different cosmetic applications.  Specific product applications include: hair curling lotions, skin cleansers (cold creams, shower gels, body washes and skin lotions) deodorants, face, hand and body skin care products, moisturizing skin care products and lip balms.

(3) Dipropylene glycol is also used in the production of unsaturated resins and saturated resins, and the resins produced from it have superior flexibility, crack resistance, and weather resistance. The products have long term yellowing resistance properties.
